Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone was America's first National Park, and it contains some of the most incredible scenery and wildlife in the country. During the summer, when the Beartooth Highway is open, it's just a couple of hours from Red Lodge into the Park. In the winter, the trip is a bit longer, but still well worth it.

Written by one of the bookstore's owners, the Yellowstone edition of Who Pooped in the Park? is a great children's book about the animals and the signs they leave behind them, in the form of scat (poop) and tracks (footprints).
